This post is a work in progress

Two summers ago, I watched and became briefly obsessed with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Al, the younger brother whose soul was separated from his body and placed in a suit of armor, was one of my favorite characters.

So when I found out he was going to be a major character on Riley Hopkins and Their Amazing Friends: Interstitial Infinity, an actual play podcast using the crossover-driven, fanfiction-inspired Interstitial system and set on the Infinity Train, one of my favorite television shows of all time, I knew I had to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. Interstitial blew me away. It's so good I had to reconsider my long-held view that I simply don't like podcasts.

This post will have major spoilers for FMAB and non-plot related endgame arc spoilers for Interstitial Infinity. If you want to avoid either of those, don't read it!
