I write this blog post the night of seeing Sinners and oh my god, what an absolutely incredible movie. I cannot recommend it enough for fans of horror or people wanting to give horror a shot. The kind of movie that makes me want to look at my list of top 5 movies because some re-arranging is going to need to happen now. I might try to write a post all about it so I can share more thoughts without risking spoilering anybody; I went in knowing very little and got so much out of that.

Also of note for media this month: Champs in the Making finished! The Best Pokemon Ever has been determined through some combination of science, democracy, and violence. What a fun podcast and incredible project. I was only around for about the last year of its run but I'm so glad I got to be around for the ride for even part of it.

May 1st Update: And how could I forget that I was able to find and watch the first episode and tea party of Stage of the Golden Witch! What an absolutely incredible adaptation.
