The "ring scene", also known as The Demon Wedding IV, is my favorite horror scene in Umineko and probably my third favorite scene in the game overall (Episode 5 ??? and Magic Ending win out). I have a lot of things to say about it, so I'm creating this as a landing page for it in case I end up posting those thoughts/projects.
Notably, this scene is the scene I feel strongest about being vastly superior with the original graphics. It's also currently the only scene I've seen a Let's Player skip. So, one of the things I've done is gather screencaps of the scene with the original graphics and compile them into a screencap LP page.
I wanted to make it accessible, but due to how much text is on the screen at a given time, that was very difficult to do with alt text. So, instead, I've created a second page with a pure text version of the scene. Some of how the scene is originally written would be quite difficult on screen readers, so I've reformatted and altered that text in order to make for a smoother reading experience.
