ArtFight: Anaris, Queen of Swords

Digital art of Anaris, a middle-aged, thin white woman, sitting on a throne sideview and holding out a long, sharp sword. The throne is silver with diamond embellishments, a horn sticking out of the back, and clawed feet, evocative of a dragon. Her hair is reddish purple, wavy, and shoulder length. She wears a purple cloak with a cape with a red interior, and has red diamond jewelry including a bracelet and a circlet. In the background, the sillohuette of a dragon is flying.

The Queen of Swords card has historically negative connotations, including divorce, being widowed, and infertility. It has been reinterpreted with a more positive angle including independence and assertiveness. I really liked both interpretations for Anaris. Art is based on the card's depiction in the Waite-Smith tarot!
